Wood Badge

Every Scout deserves a well-trained leader. Are you that leader? Get Wood Badge trained and you will be! In doing so, you will change not only your life but also the lives of the youth you lead. In 2023, the Atlanta Area Council BSA will offer two Wood Badge courses. Participants are required to attend all days a specific course is being held and must be at least 19 years of age. Fall 2026 Course
When: October 2-4 & November 7-8, 2026
Where: Woodruff Scout Camp

Spring 2026 Course
When: March 13-15 & March 28-29
Where: Bert Adams Scout Camp
Course Director: Kali Currey

The council offers additional Wood Badge apparel, gears, and memorabilia that can be ordered online at the Wood Badge Shop website.

Cancellation and refund policy

Refund policy is as follows

• Refund minus $50: When cancellation is made 30 days prior to event
• No refund/refund at council discretion: When cancellation is made within 29 days of event.
