Venture Leader Training

Venture Scouts members are ages between 14-21. They work on skills and advancement to help them become more confident, work in teams, and lead.
We encourage you to become a trained leader. Training will help you understand the Venture program, give you confidence in your abilities, and enable you to help your Scouts succeed.
There are two ways to become a trained Venture Crew Advisor or Assistant Advisor.
1. In-person training: This class will be taught by an experienced Venture Leader. You will learn tricks of the trade with other new Scout leaders. See the training calendar for dates and times.
Youth Protection, Weather Hazards, Venture Advisor Position-Specific Training, and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills
2. On-line training: These are a series of modules that you may take at your leisure.
