Lions & Tigers New Parent Training

Join us for an exciting program geared towards getting you and your Lion or Tiger Scout off on the right foot. Learn all the essentials to making your child’s first year in Scouting fun, educational, and engaging.  

As a parent, you will be taught the basics of how a Lion or Tiger Den is run and what to expect from your Den Leader. You will also learn how to plan, organize, and run a great Den Meeting.

While the parents are learning, the Lions and Tigers will be having fun! Scout Troops and Venturing Crews will be on hand to play games, make crafts, and start to show the new Tigers some of the fun they will have in Scouting.

Don't miss this perfect opportunity for becoming educated as you begin your year. The room will be full of experienced Scout Leaders who remember the feeling of the unknown when their child first joined as a Lion or Tiger.

Upcoming Courses

If any Lion/Tiger New Parent Training programs are scheduled, they will be listed in Cub Scout Leader Training, because this training for adults is essentially the same as in Cub Scout Leader Training.
