Provisional Camper Program

Can't make it to camp the same week as your Troop or Crew? Wanna stay longer after your unit leaves or wanna come back for Second Week? No problem!

With the Provisional Camper Program, Scouts BSA and Venturers can attend Bert Adams Scout Camp or Woodruff Scout Camp without their Troop or Crew.

Provisional Campers are placed into a special provisional unit for the week. 

• Bert Adams Provisional Scouts may attend any of the four weeks camp is offered.
• Woodruff Provisional Scout week - July 14-20, 2024

One adult is required to attend with the scout(s).  The adult and scout(s) are joined by other Provisional Campers & their adult in a special Troop.  The adults need to be registered with the BSA  and take Youth Protection Training.  If an adult is financially unable to attend, please contact the Camping Specialist at camping@atlantabsa.org.

Provisional Rates

Scouts BSA and Venturers:

Bert Adams: $380 each with a $120 deposit due upon registration.

Woodruff:  $425 each with a $120 deposit due upon registration.

Parents & Leaders: $220 each with a $50 deposit due upon registration.

Note that all Scouts must have one adult attend with them.
