Scouting: A Career with Purpose and an Opportunity to Lead
Do work that matters. Have fun while making a difference.
Since 1910, Scouting America has helped young people build character, develop leadership skills, explore the outdoors, and prepare for life. In metro Atlanta, more than 6,000 volunteers give their time and talent to help deliver the Scouting program. A select group of professionals have the unique opportunity to make Scouting their career.
As a Scouting professional, you will help grow a movement that changes lives. You will work with community leaders, support dedicated volunteers, connect families with meaningful opportunities, and help young people discover their potential.
A Career That Helps You Grow
We believe great leaders are built through great training, coaching, and experience. Scouting America is committed to helping professionals grow in their careers and succeed in their work.
Scouting America professionals participate in training and development opportunities multiple times a year. This investment reflects our commitment to helping you build the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to lead effectively.
Our culture encourages continuous learning, collaboration, creativity, and shared leadership. Professionals are invited to bring ideas forward, solve problems, and help shape the future of Scouting in our community.
Fun with a Purpose
No two days in Scouting are exactly alike. You might share a meal with a community leader, learn from a business executive, visit volunteers at camp, speak with families at an elementary school, or help inspire a young person to join Scouting.
This is meaningful work, but it is also rewarding, active, and fun.
If you are driven by purpose, energized by people, and motivated by the opportunity to make a lasting impact, a career as a Scouting professional may be the right fit for you.
Join us and help prepare the next generation of leaders.
