DID YOU KNOW THIS?
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Scout. It’s true! He was registered as a member of Troop 151 in Atlanta. His troop was chartered with Ebenezer Baptist Church, where young Martin’s father was a pastor.
While Troop 151 is no longer chartered with Ebenezer Baptist Church, Troop and Pack 213 meet there every other Sunday. Read more about Dr. King's youth in Scouting here.
