Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. – Eta Lambda Chapter proudly announces the 1st Spring Alpha Merit Badge University (AMBU) on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Morehouse College.
This event offers Atlanta-area Scouts an extraordinary opportunity to advance their Scouting journey, particularly in their pursuit of the prestigious Eagle Scout rank. Focused on empowering scouts, developing leaders, and changing lives, the Spring AMBU prioritizes Eagle-required merit badges with a strong emphasis on leadership, scholarship, and service in underserved communities.

- Registration Check-in: 8:30 AM
- Welcome Ceremony/Orientation: 9:00 AM
- Merit Badge Classes Start: 9:30 AM
- Real Talk Panel Discussion: 1:30 PM
- Closing Ceremony Ends: 5:00 PM

- $15 Early Registration (Until 2/28)
- $20 Registration (3/1 - 3/16)

- Additional $40 for CPR & First Aid Certification (American Red Cross) - Scouts only

Open and informative discussions about the journey of becoming an Eagle Scout, focusing on Eagle Scouts from underserved areas, with insights from Eagle Scouts ranging from high school age, college, and seasoned professionals.

Cancellation, No Refund, and No Transfer Policy
To ensure that we can continue to offer high-quality programming at an affordable cost for all participants, the following policy applies to all registrations:
- No Cancellations or Refunds
- Once a registration is completed and payment is submitted, no cancellations or refunds will be issued (except for the CPR class).
- This policy allows us to maintain the low registration fees while covering essential event expenses, including instructional materials, merit badge counselors, facilities, and meals for the Scouts.
- No Transfers or Substitutions
- Registrations cannot be transferred to another participant or applied to a future event (except for the CPR class)
- Each registration is only valid for the individual Scout registered at the time of payment and for the specific event date.
- Event Commitment
- Please register only when you are certain that your Scout can attend the event.
- We encourage families to review their schedules before completing the registration process.
